Italian without Borders Restorers at Persepolis
The Italian without Borders Restorers will be at Persepolis for more than a month since today.
It will be restored in parts of the Council 'Palace (shora) and Tachar'Palace
World Heritage Site (Persepolis) reported, The Italian restorersentered Persepolis from today (May 4) for more than a month.
Visiting the workplace, workshops in two palaces, check for equipment and materials required was one of the programs they put on their agenda.
They say, the restoration work of two chambers will be officially started tomorrow.

Persepolis Projects during Last Year
Applied researches, construction and reformation operations, conservation and restoration activities, archeological excavations and providing software and hardware in order to introduce monuments and sites to people have been the priorities of all the World and National Heritage Sites. Persepolis World Heritage Site had also done lots of such activities during last year. According to a report published by “Miras Arya News Agency” the public relation department of Persepolis world heritage site said that Masoud Rezaei Monfared, the head of Persepolis Site declared “more than 30 projects on 5 main subjects had been implemented last year at Persepolis”.
“TOURGADROON” Application
“TOURGADROON” Application
This (free) application provides a virtual tour of Persepolis and Pasargadae sites for its users. One can install this app on his/her mobile phone and then enjoy the offline tour. The App gives information about different parts of Persepolis and Pasargadae. At Persepolis there are some QR codes on each tourist guide boards which can be scanned by the visitors (through the app) then he/she will receive information about that part. The operation of organizing Persepolis entrance road from Mellal square to Persepolis has been started.
Masoud Rezaei Monfared declared “a city gate has a great importance and this is more crucial in cultural-historical sites”. He continued “one of the priorities of the Persepolis World Heritage Site has been the organization of the entrance road of Persepolis from Mellal square since last year” according to the Public Relations Department of the Persepolis World Heritage Site.

The UNESCO Assessor Visited Persepolis

This picture was shared and spread on cyberspace and some internet sites and was attributed to the water ways excavations of Persepolis.
Hereby it is announced that this picture, a picture of an skeleton is not of the finding of the Persepolis excavations, unfortunately unknown users shared this picture just to attract the readers more by presenting a lie and increasing the view statistics of the yellow sites and private pages on cyberspace.

‘Shab-e Firuze-i’ which is a TV program, introduces and shows Fars cultural and historical sites. On July 26 and 27, 2016 it was the first time that the TV audiences were watching a live program from Persepolis.

Introducing “Sassanian History”, a Book By Prof. Shapur Shahbazi
A ceremony had been held at Fars library and archives center to introduce a book “Sassanian History” written by Prof. Shapur Shahbazi on his death anniversary, in which numbers of professors and researchers of art, archeology and history field were presented. Prof. Shapur Shahbazi was born in April 16, 2006 and deceased when he was 63 and buried at Hafez Tomb. God bless him.
The Conference of Parsa-Pasargadae World Heritage Site’s Achievements
The conference of Parsa-Pasargadae world heritage site’s achievements was held in December 10, 2011 at 9 a.m. in the conference hall of Shiraz research institute of cultural heritage organization with the cooperation of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism organization.
Secretary of this conference said “the conference is based on the subjects related to archeology, restoration and conservation, analytical engineering, architecture, visit management and climatology and geology”.
The conference secretary, Mohammad-hasan Talebiyan, declared that “the stone conservation and restoration is at high rank in Persepolis and Parsa, and this is the result of good and proper management of that area”. He also said that “for the positive activities which has been done at Parsa-Pasargadae area and as its management is good, we almost do not pay anything for international cooperation”. Dr. Talebiyan said that “it’s important for us to see that the activities related to Persepolis become worldwide and we can assert that appropriate activities have been done in the field of monitoring”
